Wallen was seen “lunging and throwing an object over the roof” in rooftop video, according to his arrest affidavit. In addition, witnesses claimed in the statement that they were standing to Wallen’s right when they “saw him pick up the chair and throw it over him, laughing afterward.”

He was taken into custody on Monday about 12:30 a.m. Online Davidson County Jail records indicate that he was freed at 3:30 a.m. with a bond of $15,250.

After his arrest, Wallen is “cooperating fully with authorities,” according to Worrick Robinson, Wallen’s attorney, who spoke with NBC News.

This weekend, Chief’s, just two streets from the renowned Ryman Auditorium, celebrated its opening. It was not immediately possible to reach representatives of the bar or Church for comment.

One of the biggest names in country music, Wallen, was briefly banned from the industry in 2021 after he was seen on camera yelling a racist epithet outside his Tennessee home following a night of partying in Nashville.

“There’s no justification. I never offered an explanation. Two years after the controversy that almost brought his career to an abrupt end, Wallen said in an interview with Billboard, “I never will make an excuse.”

He was fired from his musical performance on “Saturday Night Live” in 2020 after it was discovered that he had been kissing women and partying without a mask on TikTok videos, which put him at danger of contracting COVID during the epidemic.
